By registering with SailingNow you agree to our terms and conditions in full, please read them completly before registering.
For this site, skippers are defined to be people who have sailing to offer and crew are people who want to sail.
Pricing : free for skippers, 5 pounds sterling or 10 US dollars or 10 euros for crew for
one quarter.
SailingNow reserves the right to change these prices, but changes will only take place at the end of your
current subscription.
Subscriptions run for a period of three months from the date of subscription and are automatically renewed You may cancel your subscription at any time (via the Account Page or directly with PayPal). Cancelling your subscription means that no more payments will be taken from you -but your current subscription will remain active for the remainder of the term. We cannot refund part subscriptions. If subscription rates change we will cancel your cureent subscription at the end of it's term and give you the oppotunity to subscribe at the new rate. At the end of any free trial a subscription payment will automatically be taken. If you wish to avoid this then please cancel your subscription before the end of your trial period. SailingNow will contact you, if necessary, with details of changes to the site or your subscription. This is irrespective of the privacy options set by the user.
SailingNow are commited to your privacy and have put in place systems to help protect it. Part of this is the logon and password system and we request that you keep your password safe and do not pass it on to any one, you may also wish to change it at intervals for added security.
A registered user of SailingNow who places an advertisement upon this site gives consent to the information contained
in that advertisement, and the contact details entered upon the site, being displayed upon the SailingNow site to any registered user
who may care to read it.
Registered users reading other users details have an obligation to keep these details private and not
to pass them on to third parties or to use them in any commercial way.
SailingNow may occaisionally be able to offer an enhanced service by the passing of details to third parties, something we will only do with your consent, and which you can opt in to by using the privacy setting on your accout.
SailingNow may occaisionally be legally olbliged to pass on details to third parties, and may also have to do so to enforce these 'Terms and Conditions', to legally defend ourselves or to protect SailingNow's site or property.
We will display only the details entered at this site, any further details given to the payment service will not be shown here.
SailingNow reserves the right to send messages concerning alterations in service or terms to any user at any time.
You may only use Sailing Now for lawful purposes when seeking assistance with finding crew or seeking crew placements.
You must not under any circumstances seek to undermine the security of the Site or any information submitted to or available through it. In particular, but without limitation, you must not seek to access, alter or delete any information to which you do not have authorised access, seek to overload the system via spamming or flooding, take any action or use any device, routine or software to crash, delay, damage or otherwise interfere with the operation of this Site or attempt to decipher, disassemble or modify any of the software, coding or information comprised in the Site
You are solely responsible for any information submitted by you to this site. You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied by you is true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading or likely to mislead or deceive and that it is not discriminatory, obscene, offensive, defamatory or otherwise illegal, unlawful or in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines or codes of practice or the copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights of any person in any jurisdiction.
This site is for the use of registered users only, registered users must not pass on, or collect, the details of other users for any use other than to contact them regarding crew placements. Bulk downloading and spamming from this site is specifically banned as is any other collection of user details in bulk.
SailingNow reserves the right to delete advertisements and users who misuse our system. No refunds will be given..
